The double bed sits in its own draped, canopied nook with coastal prints on the walls, bedside lamps and a chest of drawers, a snug, restful spot. The shower room has a corner cubicle, WC and basin over a smart patterned tiled floor.

You could hardly be more central. St Magnus Cathedral, the shops, cafes, restaurants and the harbour are all within an easy stroll, and the bus links and car routes out to the rest of the island start right here, making this a perfect base for exploring Orkney without needing to drive everywhere.
